Afternoon all, The first University Regionals event of the new year is just a week and a bit away. Tres, sehr, molto exciting.
You have to be rostered. You had to be rostered all last year, this is no different. Register with the UKU site if you haven't, and join the appropriate team. If your University doesn't have a team listing on the UKU page, then create one, and then join it. For any of our Regionals, only annual Basic Membership is needed, which costs a mere £5. (Should your team qualify, then you'll need to upgrade it to Full Membership, which is just £13.50 more (and £9 less in total than those/us grown-ups pay).) £5 for a whole year? Depending on where you live it's 2/3/4/5 pints of something to drink*, and hardly deal-breaking. This email right here, this constitutes any Fair Warning that you might be entitled to. If I rock up to a tournament with your team list from the UKU site and find that there's players playing on your team who aren't on that list, then bad things will happen. Please don't test me on it or assume that I'm forgiving, because this isn't a brand new or outrageous requirement and I'll consider any discovered violation to be deliberate and repercussions will be as such.
