Hey Britdisc At the risk of starting a long thread debating Ultimate rules I wanted to highlight the 'continuation rule' which was added in 2009.
'If a call during or after the throwing motion did not affect possession, then it should be ignored. For example, if a thrower is fouled in the act of throwing, but the disc flies perfectly to the receiver who then drops it on their chest, the turnover should stand.' http://www.ukultimate.com/system/files/WFDF%20Rules%20of%20Ultimate%202009%20-%20Summary%20of%20Changes.pdf Awareness of this (relatively) new rule seems to be quite low, with even some very experienced players never having heard of it.
