To whom it may concern:
Over the last year I have really enjoyed getting updates and information from
BritDisc, and have found it to be a very useful resource as an Ultimate player.
However, I have just now unsubscribed to the mailing list as it seemed that it
had gotten out of control and was no longer being used in a productive manner.
The recent discussions on 'Spirit Scoring' and 'Physicality in Ultimate' which
have led to well over 30 emails in 3 days does not seem to be appropriate use
of the mailing list. Therefore the mailing list has become spam instead of the
useful tool that it had once been. Discussions should not be sent out over the
whole mailing list to everyone, particularly ones that are really just a string
of personal opinions that would be better discussed in a forum not a mailing
list. So it is with regret that I leave the mailing list and I hope that it can
again in the future be a useful tool for UK ultimate players.
