Schedule is nearly all sorted. I hope we'll get it published before the end
of the day. (In case you're wondering why oh why these things don't get
done earlier, we've had three teams drop out over the last week or so.
Publishing the schedule earlier would have created more problems than it
solved.)

Anyway...

On Sat, games start at 9am. Women's div should be done by 5pm, with the
Open finishing just after 17:30.
We have of course avoided it where possible but a few teams do have first
game and last game.
I'm fairly sure that the latest start for anyone is 10:45.

On Sun, we've lined up an 8:45 start (!) in order to make sure the final
round of games can all be done by 17:30 (including any cap).

And talking of the cap...

The WFDF Ultimate Rules committee has been discussing some rule changes on
game endings. Specifically a 1-pt cap, and also removing the win-by-2 rule
- both are aimed at simplifying the end of game for both players and
spectators. To be honest I don't think these changes are all that
controversial, and they make good sense to me. We've done 1-pt cap at Uni
Outdoors a few times in the last two years due to windy weather.

We are going to trial these at T2 and T3: feedback welcome. (One reason for
doing them now is just in case the changes get implemented at international
events this summer - unlikely but not impossible I guess.)

The specifics will be repeated on the schedule, but basically when time is
over, you finish the current point and if nobody wins in that point, then
the cap is reduced to ONE point above the current highest score.

Si

Ps - I do like the rain softening up the fields, but I hope it stops before
the weekend...
