Evening BD I am running a series of events throughout the winter at Spinkhill, just outside Sheffield (used for UKU Regionals, BUCS Nats and Super 7s). It will be great to have some competitive winter Ultimate in the region once again!
There are provisionally two pitches booked at the venue for each event in the series. The ideal format is to have the same 8 teams for the whole series, meaning each team could play a couple of near full length matches at each event. If we end up with different teams each time (or more than 8 teams) we'll have different formats, likely to involve a larger number of shorter games. This may mean that we need to get more pitches which could push the price up though. Each event is to be held on the following Sunday's: - 13th November 2011 - 4th December 2011 - 15th January 2012 - 5th February 2012 The entry fee is £30 per event, or £100 to enter the whole series. Any team is welcome to enter, whether you are Uni or club, beginners or experienced.
