Hello all, There's about a week and a half to go before Uni Open Indoor Regionals so I figure I'll put out the annual helpful reminder. If it helps, these details are exactly the same as previous years.
Everyone taking part in Uni Open Indoor Regionals, and Uni Mixed Indoor Regionals the week after, needs to be a paid-up registered member of UKU. For Regionals the Basic membership is sufficient - £5. (For the whole year.) Should your team qualify for any Nationals, you can upgrade it to the Full membership for a quite reasonable additional £13.50. This again, covers for the whole year. All our various Uni Indoor events, all our Outdoor events, all the UKU Tour system and all that too, is covered for a grand total of £18.50. If you participate without being a member, then bad things might well happen, and as per previous years I reserve the right to kick teams out of competitions should it be uncovered. It's one of those things I don't really want to do, but it's also something I won't really have a choice about. Please don't make that happen, it'll make me unhappy. If it wasn't important, then I wouldn't go on about it every year. We're all bright sparks, so I won't walk though the logical conclusion of this email's existence. Anyway, so once your team is all UKU members, the next step is even easier. All you have to do is get rostered onto your team on UKU. (If your team doesn't exist, then create it!)
