This past Saturday saw around 50 frisbee fanatics descend upon St. Peter's School in Exeter for the Inaugural "Jeremy Moore Memorial Hat Tournament." The chosen few donned hand made tye-dye t-shirts of various colours to compete for the clay cup! All the pool games were hard fought with most ending with less than a 3 point differential, but two teams clawed their way to the final where team Skyrim (aka the pink team) proved their superiority with a double-digit victory over the All American Reject who may have been depleted from winning both the Taps and Frisbee Tag competitions during the earlier intervals. The two finalists later joined forces for the evening's festivities to easily win The Amazing Race Pub Crawl through Exeter, drinking, human pyramiding, and running their way through the streets to claim the prize of ultimate victors. Thanks to everyone who came along to celebrate my deportation, it truly was the best hat tournament the South west has ever seen! Plans are already under-way to make next year bigger and better!! And thanks to those of you who couldn't make it because you had winter league, I hope you feel like you made the best decision ;-p
In all seriousness, for those of you who I have had the pleasure of meeting over the last 3.5 years, you have truly made my UK adventure a worthy endeavour, I only hope I have in some small way improved your lives with a smile, a bit of banter, some sagely advice, or some ridiculous fancy dress! In faith, hope, and most of all Love, Jeremy Moore Results: 1) Skyrim (Pink) *Cup* 2) All American Reject (Blue) 3) S.P.R.I.N.T.
