Kia ora BD/UU,
Cambridge Ultimate hosted Midlands University Open Outdoor Regionals last
weekend, on an overcast and windy Saturday followed by a pleasingly,
gloriously sunny Sunday (which made our hireage of an ice cream van look
much less a ludicrous choice of catering).
There was a great standard of ultimate on show, with the battles for the
Nationals qualification spots producing a series of close, quality matches.

The Spirit prize, of course, went to OW 1. They've already gotten a Shield

I'd like to thank all the teams for coming along and making it a great
weekend, and especial thanks to our TD, Lord Strachan (n.b.: not actually a
Lord) and his army of volunteers, who picked up rubbish, kept the water
bottles filled, and all those other little things that make a tournament
work.
I can only hope that this weekend's weather for UMON is as good!
