DUFFA’s Manchester Hat tournament will be on July 14 and 15 this year. The
tournament is completely non-profit, completely run by volunteers and is
famous for having the very best organisation and the very highest possible
spirit of the game. Everybody camps on site, and we have loads of sideline
games and huge party on Saturday night. We are looking for people who want
friendly, relaxed fun… bonus points if you can help us make sure that we
have plenty of beginners, players from outside the UK, and women.

Here is what we are offering for the £28 fee:
 - A wicking athletic shirt in your size, in your team’s colour
 - Free camping on Friday and Saturday nights
 - Cool stuff like sports massage, the layout bouncy castle, and the
England vs The Rest Of The World Game
 - Free beer for 3-pint challenges (That’s right, we give you beer!)
 - A free meal on Saturday night
 - A massive Saturday night party with our favourite Funk and Soul DJ
switching sets with a live band
 - Water, fruit, sunblock and other little freebies in plentiful quantities
on the sideline
 - A huge number of really good prizes
 - Superb organisation and information
 - The absolute best possible friendly, fun atmosphere. If you aren't
friendly, stay home!

We are especially aiming to attract a high number of beginners, a high
number of women players and a high number of players from outside the UK.
Could you join us this year? Could you help us find the right people?

You can register by visiting our website www.duffa.org/hat. Registration is
open now for players who live outside the UK. UK players can register after
7 pm on Monday the 16th of April. Places will go fast!

Here are some of the things players wrote on our feedback survey after last
year’s tournament:

"High standard of everything! At most tournaments you'll only get a couple
of good things, like the food might be good but the partys rubbish. At
DUFFA you can tell it's a non profit event, you can see the time, money and
effort put in. The Party was particularly good and the organisation was
great."

"Very well organised, and everyone knew what was going on the whole time.
The massage lady was brilliant, hope she can come again. Music was
fantastic and the volunteers were friendly and helpful."

"I liked playing with new people, very well run tournament. Good
scoreboards, pitch water, etc. The amount of prizes was brilliant."

"All the little things like the brass band and stuff made the tourney the
best I've ever had the pleasure of attending :)"
