Just a heads up - promotion and relegation will happen as normal this
year. We had some issues 2 years ago when the expected number of foreign
teams ended up not materialising and some teams were unable to get
promoted after winning their bracket at tour 1. This year we believe
we've got everything sorted.
There will be 7 foreign/GB teams at Tour 1, so we'll run a 24-team A
tour (effectively, a 17-team A tour for 'real' teams).
There will be 3 GB teams at Tour 2, so we'll run a 20-team A tour
(again, 17 other teams, so promotion and relegation will work as normal).
These will all disappear for Tour 3, which will have the standard
16-team A tour. Three teams will be demoted after Tour 2 and only 2 will
be promoted.
The B tour will always have 16 teams, with the C tour containing
everyone else. Promotion/relegation across this boundary will be as above.
This of course is all based on the other A/B tour teams attending all
the tournaments, which of course we cannot control. But as far as the
various national teams go, it's all in hand. Enjoy.
