This a quick reminder to all teams in the West Midlands, East Midlands
and East of England areas that the deadline for entry (and payment!)
into UKU Midlands Regionals 2012 is this Wednesday. See below for
details.

I am proud to announce that UKU Midlands Regionals 2012 will be
hosted by SMT Ultimate in Leicester on Saturday 4th August, in what
promises to be a exciting battle for the two UKU Nationals spots
available to teams from the Midlands.
Indeed, the 2012 Open Tour has proved to be very successful for
Midlands clubs so far with Jest Ridisculous joining the more
established regional powers EMO and Cambridge Ultimate in A Tour,
and BAF winning B Tour in Nottingham a couple of weeks ago. When you
throw into the mix both Leamington Lemmings and St. Albans looking
to be competitive and cause some upsets, what you end up with is the
perfect recipe for an exciting day of open ultimate!
If your team falls within the Midlands region (this covers the West
Midlands, East Midlands and East of England sub-regions), then
please check out our webpage www.thumber.co.uk/regionals for more
info and an entry form. We are looking to get an idea of numbers
within the next week (so please get your entries in early!), but the
payment/confirmation deadline will be Wednesday 25th July.
In particular we would love to see some interest from newer or less
established clubs in the area... if commiting to a whole Tour season
has proved impractical for you, but you would like to get involved
in some competitive outdoor ultimate this summer, then this is the
ideal opportunity! Please contact us ([email protected]) if
