Hello,

I’m glad to announce that, Aberystwyth’s Mwnci See are hosting our yearly
warm-up tournament, Petting Zoo on the 10th & 11th November. We are looking
to have 10-12 teams playing at the tournament, to ensure each team has
plenty of pitch time the whole weekend. We encourage teams of all levels of
experience to enter, as it’s a great tournament to help ease beginners into
the competitive side of the sport as well as help the more experienced
teams warm-up for Regionals.

Each team will be given accommodation in our luxurious student homes, all
located within walking distance of the venue and the beach, for Friday and
Saturday night. The tournament venue will be, as always, at the Sports Cage
located on the Aberystwyth University Campus. There will be a night out
planned on Friday to help teams and players meet each other and have a few
friendly drinks before starting the tournament, as well as a themed night
on the Saturday. (Details about the Saturday night will be released in a
month or so.)

The entry cost will be only £110, per team, for a weekend of drinking,
games and most likely a dangerously high amount of Luke Forsey. The payment
deadline is 1st October 2012, payment details will be Captain packs will be
sent out to all teams once the team list is finalised and team fees have
been paid. Spaces will be decided by first come, first serve. To secure a
spot contact me at [email protected] stating how many teams you want to
enter, your team name(s), level of experience of each time and whether you
need accommodation arranged for your team. All of this can be found on
Ffindr! at http://ffindr.com/en/event/aberystwyth-petting-zoo-2012.If you
have any questions or concerns feel free to contact myself via email or
Mwnci’s president (Joe McNulty) at [email protected].

Hope to see you all there,

Chris Ridley
