======== GB Beach 2013 - Mixed Masters Hello to all Beach Ultimate lovers, If you're interested in playing for the GB Mixed Masters team competing at the European Beach championships in Spain next Summer (27th - 30th June, Calafell Beach, Tarragona) Please email Lucy Byrne ([email protected]) with the following details, by Sun 30th Sept 1. Your name 2. A brief statement about your beach playing experience/history/attributes 3. D.O.B. You need to be 33 or older to play (date of birth must be in 1980 or earlier) 4. If you are trying out for other GB Beach teams? (Open Masters, Womens, Mixed etc.) 5. Nationality (if not a UK passport holder - see WFDF eligibility rules for details and explain how you qualify) Having won Gold and Spirit at the last world beach championships, I'm looking to run an equally spirited, committed and skilled team to compete at the highest level at Europeans next summer. The first trial will be: Sun 4th Nov at Sandbanks (Poole). My hope would be to make this Trial completely open, however there is a limit to capacity and I'm looking for experienced players, so I will reserve the right to make an initial 'Paper selection' if required (Any unsuccessful applicants would be informed by Sun 7th Oct). The 2nd trial would be provisionally Sun 3rd Feb (Open to cancellation if poor weather) then Sat 23rd or Sun 24th Feb at Sandbanks Commitment will also be expected for a European beach tournament in March and for one (whole or half) weekend per month till the championships in June.
