If you live in or near Oxford, you might like to know that we've managed to
book a floodlit pitch for the winter period. So, we'll be having outdoor
sessions on Tuesday evenings, 8:30-10:00, where we'll run a couple of drills
then play some pickup.
The pitch is at St Gregory the Great school in Cowley, on Cricket Road (5 mins
from Cowley Road, which is served by a multitude of buses). Anyone is welcome.
You can turn up and pay on the day for one session, or pay in advance for 5 or
10 sessions. No tabs! Prices as follows (students/non-students):
1 session: £4.50/5.505 sessions: £4/510 sessions: £3.50/4.50
Hopefully in January we'll be able to make the prices a bit lower, if we get
enough numbers (which I think we will).
It is astro-turf rather than 3G, but at least noone will call you a sissy for
playing frisbee anymore when you turn up to work with no skin on your arms.
