Greetings BD, After a very successful year ending in an 11th place Nationals finish in our debut appearance, ManUp are rebooting and recruiting for 2013. We are happy to announce trials for our 2013 squad.
We are looking to take on new blood from the North who share our goals of competing in the upper echelons of Tour, and for a top 8 / xEUCF finish at Nationals. The battle for a place in the team will be tough this year, our new coaches are looking for enthusiasm, dedication and a strong work ethic. We're ideally looking for players in the area who can commute and commit to our weekly sessions, as this is where the majority of our good work for the year will be put into practice. Open trials will be taking place in Manchester on two weekends, November 17th / 18th, and December 15th / 16th. The trials will be in two parts: 1) Saturday; open trial, 10am-2pm. Hough End Playing Fields, Manchester M21 (http://goo.gl/maps/TW3pM). Please arrive in good time to be ready for a prompt warm-up to begin at 10am. 2) Sunday; we will be entering 2 teams into Northern Winter League (down the road at Wythenshawe). If we want to see you playing in a competitive environment, we will invite you to play with one of our squads at Northern Winter League. We hope to take the majority of the trial players to the Sunday Winter League, but cannot guarantee places; please prepare to play both days (Saturday and Sunday).
