Subject: [UKU Event Announcements] Club Open Indoor Regionals 2012-13
Club Open Indoor Regionals 2012-13 Further to the problems we have had securing TDs and venues for Club Indoor regionals on the originally announced date of 10-11 November, we can now announce a Plan B. We understand that this is far from ideal, but after a great deal of work and considering various options we have decided to move ahead as follows: * 10-11 November, Plymouth (was announced early October) * 17-18 November, Glasgow Scotland (was announced 24th Oct) Additional NEW DATES: * Sat 17 November [approx 1pm-7pm], London - capacity 16 teams * This venue has multiple pitches and will be able to stage a relatively normal format in a very shortened total time. * 8-9 December, Dudley - capacity 16-24 teams * This is the same venue that we are using for Uni Indoor Finals Div 2 on 24-25 Nov. Details on how to enter both of these events will be released by all the usual methods before the end of this week. Club Open Indoor Finals is planned for 2-3 Feb - and we expect to announce a venue for that event within the next 2 weeks. Once again - please accept our apologies on the delays in finalising these events, and the inevitable knock-on effects that occur when we move dates. We really try hard not to move dates once they have been announced - but this year it became unavoidable. ---- About this newsletter ---- Please note this newsletter is an attempt to create a simple, official broadcast mechanism for events. 1. We expect announcements to be short but quite frequent. 2. We plan to use the title to identify the event/competition so that you can easily see which announcements are relevant to you. 3.
