Hi All

Sheffield Steal are currently recruiting for the next outdoor season.
We have recently undergone a restructuring process and are going to
focus on being a mixed team for the foreseeable future. Our aim is to
develop a strong mixed team drawing on a wide base of players to
represent Northern Ultimate. To progress we are looking to have some
monthly trainings initially, which can change to a more frequent basis
when the squad structure becomes more apparent. We shall be looking to
enter mixed teams into open tournaments in the run up to tour, to pit
ourselves against strong opponents and give us depth in our game.

Once the mixed season is over Steal shall continue to train for those
that would want to represent Steal in the open tour, and again we
would be looking to take a mixed team, to build on any successes
achieved ready for the following season. We would not expect any
commitment to the open tours as we understand many players will have
open teams already lined up, this is just a process to develop other
players in the squad.

We are happy to accept any standard of player, whether you have been
playing for just a few weeks or are a veteran. We intend to relaunch
Ultimate in Sheffield by running events in the city, offering the
sport to wider sections of the community, with the aim of giving us a
large competitive squad.

Our first training sessions are planned for November 17th and December
8th. If you would like to attend please get in contact with the club
for more details (so we can keep a track on the projected attendance
and plan accordingly). If you are interested the my club email is
[email protected], and the website can be found at
www.sheffieldultimate.co.uk

If you know someone who may be interested in playing with Steal whom
might not get this message please pass it on.

Many thanks

Doug ‘Pouch’ Neal
