Few words of introducing. My name is Lukasz Skibinski-Jozwiak. Im
captain of mixed team - Furious Goats #15 (
http://www.facebook.com/FuriousGoats ) , and player in open team
UPRISING #40 (http://www.facebook.com/UprisingUltimate ) . As You know -
probably, first polish ultimate tournament was in 2004 in Poznan with
only one polish team (i was there). Since that time our sport develop.
This year at polish Nationals we had 22 teams - overall there is 25
teams. So there is some progress. But still we do not have many teams in
Open & Woman division and we are a little bit stuck with mixed division.
I see a little breakthrough in last 2 years. 3 teams in open division
(Uprising , Girl Stay Home and Warsaw United) and 2 teams in woman
division (Whatever , team from Warsaw) was created.
Why im writing to You? I got idea to make first polish outdoor
tournament with open and woman division. With that kind of tournament we
will introduce to the polish Ultimate community and others, Ultimate at
highest level that is possible. It will be something new in Poland and
hopefully it will be a huge factor to accelerate growth of polish
ultimate, the open and woman scene also.
In few days i will produce some invitation clip. I will sending
this teaser to best open and woman teams in Europe and some from North
America (dream big ;).
