Dear Britdisc, This e-mail sets out the process for trialing and selection for Fire of London 2013.
2013 will be Fire of London's 10th season competing at the elite level of UK and European Ultimate. This season we will be developing two strong teams to compete in the UKU Tour and Nationals, as well as building towards a strong performance at xEUCF and WUCC 2014. Looking further ahead, our objective is to develop players capable of representing Great Britain at EUC 2015 and WUGC 2016. *Tuesday Night Open Sessions* Thank you to all those who have turned out over the winter to make our open sessions successful. The turn-out was fantastic (30-40 players each week), despite some freezing conditions! >From 8th January, our Tuesday night sessions in West Ham will begin again: www.fireoflondon.org/news/tuesday_sessions. These sessions will remain open to any players considering trialing for Fire of London in 2013. *Trials* We will be holding three trial sessions: *26th January * *9th February* *23rd February* These trials will be by *invite only* and you will need to attend at least two of the three trials. The squad will be announced by *1st March* and everyone selected will be expected to attend a 'Welcome to Fire of London' introduction session on *9th March*. *How to Apply* Anyone wanting to trial for Fire of London 2013 should complete the application form available on the Fire of London website: www.fireoflondon.org/news/application_2013/. The deadline for submitting applications is *18th January*. Members of the 2012 squad will also be expected to go through the application and trial process for 2013.
