This is an email to let everyone who is interested know that TeamShark, based in Oxford, is planning to take a team to open tour this year. To this effect we will be hosting trials on Sunday 3rd March starting at 11. All skill levels are welcome; one of the main purposes of the trial is to gauge interest and skill level so we can tailor our trainings to suit. Due to the recent split of Dog Eat Disc (the elite team in the region) and TeamShark we are going to view this year’s open team as a development team. With plenty of experienced players in the team able to coach to a high level as well as DED players there is certainly plenty of scope for improving your skills. Our plan for the lead up to tour is to have monthly trainings specifically for the open team to cater for those further afield than Oxford as well as all the regular trainings held by team shark (Tuesday night Astro Sessions and Sunday training). If you plan to attend please reply to this email to let us know or put yourself as attending on the Facebook event. We understand that this is quite short notice so if you cannot attend the trials for any reason please get in touch with either me or Rien and we will sort something out. So in summary: Date – 03/03/13 Time – 11.00 - 12.30 Location – Cheney Fields, Oxford (http://goo.gl/maps/4iGsE) Free parking is possible on Cheney Lane. Bring a light and dark top and plenty of water. For those interested, there will be the option to train with the mixed team afterwards. Team Shark mixed training is from 12:30 till 15:00 on the same fields. Bring lunch if you intend to stay.
