Hi all, So I am running a disc golf tournament at the end of April and require a whole bunch of volunteers to help with the event. Various Roles to assist in the running of the BDGA tour # 5 (www.bdga.org.uk) Bristol Open. Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th of April. 72 of the top UK Disc Golfers competing over 2 day tournament. Roles will range from administration and registration of players, Course preparation/take down (Thurs,Friday and Monday), Course marshalling, refreshments/catering, making lunches (Fri), score keeping. Volunteers will receive training and induction on their duties on Saturday 20th April prior to the tournament. Any amount of time you can spare is appreciated although a minimum of 4 hours over the duration of the tournament is suggested. Some assistance may also be required on Thursday 25th and Friday 26th of April. Each volunteer will receive a tournament tee shirt or a free disc golf disc or lunches (or all three!) depending on number of hours volunteered. Some of the pre and post event roles maybe possible to be undertaken by those wishing to play in the tournament and will receive reduced entry accordingly.
