and your role in making the East Coast surf music scene so strong via N.E.S.M.A.
and the lads from the HOWLIN' THURSTONS and LAIKA & THE COSMONAUTS -- I discussed your
respective shows from last week too!

you have enriched my life....love U buddy!

last Friday September 10th I got an email from Dan Coleman, Owner/Program Director for
My Real Broadcast Radio Network, and here are his words, which still are vibrating
within me:
" Hello Freddie, I have been reading your messages on yahoo for about a year now, out
of all the members in surf rock, you rise above all with your level of commitment to
great tunes and tones. I have visited your sites as well. I had an idea while surfin
your sites. We have launched a news delivery system for 6 cities. 1 in
Canada(montreal) The rest are US based. I thought you could give us updates and
perhaps even your own weekly spot on www.myrealbroadcast.com all dedicated to your
favorite subject, Surf Music
You can talk about all the same stuff you already do, whos playing and where, even
promote up and coming new artists on your spot. What do you think? "
What do I think? I think YES, WITHOUT FAIL, LET'S START ROCKIN' ROLLIN' & TWANGIN'
Was going to use the name REVERB SUPERB (after my website www.reverbsuperb.com) but I
didn't want anyone to think I was infringing upon the great PHIL DIRT and his REVERB
CENTRAL -- so I came up with a new identity, one that would cover everything (if
possible) in the surf-music and related music scenes (hence, the use of the word
TWANG, as well as rhyming it with "the whole SHEBANG")
TWANG SHEBANG will hopefully be cutting-edge when it can, identifying where artists
are performing, speaking with the artists themselves, playing some musical snippets --
the concept is that I AM HAVING TOO MUCH FUN FOR ONE PERSON and want to SHARE this
with others....I am NO EXPERT on this subject, but my passion for it will hopefully be
conveyed, and the show will be informative, exciting, and interesting, but most all,
FUN!
I also prominently featured the YAHOO MUSIC GROUPS that cater to surf music in my
first broadcast: COWABUNGA, REVERBORAMA, SURF GUITAR 101, and as mentioned, NESMA
