Phil,

Well I'm not too worried about Archer not running as it is a  
prototype preview and not intended for prime-time use.  That said, it  
should certainly work and probably the same issue affecting the MGED  
batch script is affecting their ability to execute.  Those issues  
should get looked into for our next release (we have monthly releases).

As for what you can try, there are previous releases.  Using a  
previous release may work out better if it's a recent issue.
