I may soon be forced into using BRL-CAD on Windows and I would
appreciate some answers and hints from Windows developers:

1. What version of MSVC++ is recommended?

2. What version or combination of the BRL-CAD Windows packages will I
need to both run BRL-CAD executables as well as develop and run apps
using the BRL-CAD libraries?

3. Any problems with building and using non-gui (i.e., command line
interface) programs that use BRL-CAD libraries?

4. Any suggestions for getting a better CLI environment on Windows
than the standard command terminal which limits one to about 75
characters per line?

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

-Tom
