That is just fantastic!  I'd like to work on getting things set up so you can 
manage the port changes, but I have one question.  In setting up the .deb 
package, did you start from scratch or utilize the existing Debian files in 
misc/debian?

If you have updates to those files, those would be great to update so we can 
get a little bit closer towards proper integration into apt.

The menu and build configuration you selected sounds good.  Sounds like you put 
a lot of great effort into it as well.  Awesome work, and thanks!
