All,

It's looking like we've missed the iteration release window so I'm postponing
my release efforts until the next iteration (in 12 days). That's probably how
long it'll take to get through all of the unreviewed and undocumented commits
anyways, but just a heads up on what's going on. I'll update the TODO later
this week with specific things that are needing attention.

On a mostly unrelated note .. we now have an IdeaTorrent set up! I enabled,
set up, and added a few initial ideas to our IdeaTorrent after Browder's
comments on Friday that led me to the new sf app awesomeness. Go to:
https://sourceforge.net/apps/ideatorrent/brlcad/

IdeaTorrent spawned off from the Ubuntu project where it was developed for
their highly successful "ubuntu brainstorm" interface (
http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/ ). It's an idea and solution ranking system.

Basically, it's like stackoverflow but for feature requests instead of
questions. It's a way to get the community to post new development ideas ("I
want to be able to calculate volume in mged") along with potential ways to
implement those ideas ("how about a button that runs gqa"). The community can
then rank ideas and competing solutions up or down and comment on them.

I added a few basic ideas to get things started. After we have good
contribution base going, I'll work up an announcement. Seeding the list with
all of the existing feature requests in our sf.net tracker and/or TODO file
would be a great task for someone to take on if they get an itch. Could
probably write a script to help migrate of the tracker items.

Cheers!
Sean
