The only thing I can say is the user has to get the settings right
according to his or her hardware.  We can say that in the README (and
RELEASE-NOTES).

That is for the draft only.  The released version is autoboot autologin.

Glad you like it.  That has been my standard ever since starting
Unix/Linux 20 yrs ago, and that is why I probably will leave Ubuntu
because they are making it harder and harder to do non-GUI things.
Probably will move to Debian (as my server has been for some time).
