Hi,
My name is Wu Jianbang. I'm a sophomore student from Peking University,
China. I got really interested to BRL-CAD once I know it from GSoC, and I hope
to devote my summer vacation to it. Many projects appeal to me, such as NURBS
projects (like intersections, tessellation, etc), Geometry Conversion Projects,
Geometry Processing Projects and so on.
I have strong skills in C/C++, as well as OOP, since I have taken some
courses on it, and have finished some small projects with it. Besides, I'm good
at data structures and algorithms, for I have taken two honor track classes on
them and got lots of practice. These semester I take a course on digital image
processing, and I have done and will do several course projects on it. And I'm
also a lover of mathematics, so I think some geometry works suit me well. Could
you please give me some advice on the projects?
I think I can learn things fast, so if I have the chance, I can get started
quickly. These days I downloaded the copy of BRL-CAD, installed it and I'm
getting familiar with it. I will have lots of free time on my summer vacation,
and I really look forward to an unforgettable and meaningful summer working for
BRL-CAD.
