Hello all,

I am planning on applying to work on the "Non-Vacuum Gravity Simulator"
project. I'm a first year university student studying Aeronautical
Engineering in the UK, so I am confident that my mathematical skills are
more than up to the levels of what will be needed for this. My programming
skills aren't quite as good, and that is something that I am working on at
the moment, I intend to have some contribution to BRL-CAD up tomorrow, in
the form of one of the contributor quickies.

I have put together a preliminary proposal on the brlcad wiki, at
http://brlcad.org/wiki/User:Al_Da_Best and would welcome any feedback on it.
Particularly on the content on the project, in terms of whether there is too
much or not enough work there, as I'm not fantastic at judging how long
things like this will take in advance. Current I am working on some more
technical detail to put on there, and putting together a better goal's list.

I have spent the last few days familiarising myself with the current
simulation files, as well as libged and librt in general, as they will both
be used for this project. I have also looked through some of the code from
the Bullet Engine, to see how that works and how it fits together with
BRL-CAD.

Thanks

Alex
