I would like to ask this, though. From where can I obtain the
patch/debugging exercises that you talk of?
- http://www.google-melange.com/gci/org/google/gci2012/brlcad (2 hours tasks, see open task list)
- http://brlcad.org/wiki/Deuces (2 hour tasks, but some done, ask)
- http://brlcad.org/wiki/Quickies (2 day tasks, but some done, ask)
- TODO (file in a source checkout)
- http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=105292&atid=640805 (Feature Requests)
- BUGS (file in a source checkout)
- http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=105292&atid=640802 (Bug Reports)
Also, can I send my submissions for more than one projects that I
mentioned? Because the very reason that I enumerated so many choices
was that I could not decide which one to opt for, they all seemed
pretty exciting as they are. And once the proposal(s) is/are ready, do
I post them directly on the mailing list, or through some other
mean(s) of correspondence?
I suggest creating a user page on our wiki for your proposal and sharing the link here on the mailing list. You can see last year's students at http://brlcad.org/wiki/Google_Summer_of_Code/2012
Cheers!
