Just a note that you cannot be both mentor and be a student participant in the GCI competition. If you're the right age to participate, you're probably not old enough to officially mentor and vice versa. E-mail me if this issue is a concern for anyone.
Anyone that helps with GCI, officially or unofficially, will be getting some BRL-CAD shwag after it's over (book, shirt, etc -- to be determined). If we participate in GSoC 2014, one GCI mentor will likely be invited to join the mentor summit at Google headquarters next year. Of course, you must also be a GSoC mentor too. Cheers!
