Well I have programmed with pthreads extensively in C. These specifically
include writing games and implemented some modules of Pintos OS such as
virtual memory, buffer cache etc. as a part of my course-work. I am also
familiar with openMP (in both C and C++).
With respect to multi-processing I have worked with fork-join model as well
as openMPI.
I have some basic experience with C++, but lots of experience in C and
Java, hence for me switching to C++ wouldn't be difficult.,
Also I would like to tell you that as a part of one the advanced courses I
implemented a sequential program (in C) which would take multithreaded
programs (written in C) as input and try to find concurrency bugs in it.
