After Introducing last time around on the list, I have been looking for a
project. I have selected 2 different projects and require inputs on the
their priority and completion requirements.
A) Writing test functions for libbu and libbn
I found that all the public APIs of libbu and libbn dont have unit test
code in the test infrastructure. Can completing the test code be a GSOC
project ?
B) General Tree Walker
I am intested in this project. I got familiar with the BRL-CAD test (using
make test). I am sure this will be an interesting project. I tried getting
the gist of which functions we are looking for using grep.
I found there are 60 functions which involves tree, and only one function
with walk and recurse. Please give your input regarding what kind of walker
functions does this project aim to genralize ?
Apart from C/C++, I also have background in python. I am keen and open to
learn any other tools or language if required. I saw python projects like
"Python Bindings" but could not find any details. Please discuss the aims
of this project.
