Hi, Siddhartha, and welcome to the BRL-CAD group. > I have a deep knowledge of C and C++ > I have a average knowledge of Data Structures ,linux, Html5. > I am currently learning Css . I'm sure Sean or Cliff will weigh in but, if you haven't already, you should get the BRL-CAD source tree (trunk) and get familiar with the code layout, configuring (particularly for debugging), building, and running the test targets: "regress" and "test". Then try to tackle fixing one of the bugs, prepare a test for it, and submit a patch for your changes. Of course you will need to submit a detailed proposal for your chosen project, but chasing down and submitting patches for one or more bugs during the proposal prep period is a good exercise for you and it gives the mentors a chance to see how you work in the BRL-CAD environment. In my opinion, you should do your BRL-CAD work on Linux or other Unix-like environment, but others may disagree. I'm looking forward to seeing your efforts.
