grip are being replaced by constraint. pg was replaced by bot.  hf was replaced 
by dsp.  bspline was replaced by brep (nurbs).  We maintain and track backwards 
compatibility very strictly and changes must be announced far in advance, so it 
just takes a while for them to actually disappear.

Agreed, though some of them may be implemented before GSoC is over.
