Since I'm not helping with GSoC I thought I would take a stab at that challenge and wrote a Perl prog to look at the set of numbers. The first thing I discovered is that there should be 8,000 numbers in the 3D array but there are four missing (see my comment in the file at revision 60397). But I'm proceeding with my investigation...
