I had to make certain changes to remove the following problems which caused some delay: i) Getting the userID of currently logged in user which is required to be stored in 'material' table. I resolved this issue with the help of #mediawiki IRC. ii) I have removed the check-boxes to select the traits, the values of which are to be filled for a certain material. This is done to maintain user-ease.
