Hi all,

Coming back from GSOC reunion I just got to try out the google cardboard
they gave us, and I find it actually very interesting !

For those who were not there, this is what I'm talking about:

https://cardboard.withgoogle.com/

It makes a VR headset out of your android smartphone, you can (cheaply)
build it on your own, alternatively there are kits available too (try
"google cardboard" on amazon).

The first thought I had: how cool would it be to see my BRL-CAD geometry
as virtual reality through such a head-set ?

Did any of you try anything like that, or had some thoughts how to make
that happen for BRL-CAD ?

If it would be me, I would skip QT and go for VR + some game controller
for the next generation GUI :-)

The ultimate thing would be to get kinect connected and make it possible
to edit geometry through body/hand movements ;-)

Anybody else thinking that would be cool ?

Cheers,
Csaba
