Vlad, Gurjot,

If you are still interested in doing Qt work with BRL-CAD, you might
want to take a look at the prototype work in the brlcad-qtged branch,
src/qbrlcad directory. I don't have any of the display manager logic
hooked in yet, but if you would like to try hooking in the Qt and/or
osgl displays up with that interface the cadview stub files might be a
good place to start experimenting. If you want to look at how the
Archer/libtclcad/libged layers handle things, as opposed to MGED
itself, that may prove a simpler operation than untangling MGED - I
didn't realize myself until I got into it how much work making sense
of MGED's drawing code is, and the work to set up Archer should
already have isolated a lot (most) of what will be needed.

Cheers,
CY
