That’s always a great idea.  If you like, you can even post/share a draft of 
your proposal before uploading it to Melange and someone will usually be able 
to provide some feedback.  Were any other topics of interest or are those the 
only two topics that interest you?  They sound easy, but they’re somewhat 
complicated to turn into a production feature that will work in our ecosystem 
without prior experience of some sort.

The build instructions are basically the same on Windows.  You run cmake, open 
the studio project, and tell it to compile.  Make sure you’re using our latest 
trunk sources and not a source tarball, though.
