Hi there,
My name is Suyash and I am an undergrad at IIT Roorkee. I would like to
express my interest in the Online Geometry Viewer project. I am mainly
interested in the backend project, but I can work on the frontend too.
For the technologies used, the ideas page lists PHP and Python, and while I
am somewhat familiar with Django, I would like to propose that we use
node.js and the express or koa web framework, because in my personal
experience, I have found node to be much more lightweight and robust.
For implementing the upload mechanisms, I would like to use the formidable
<https://github.com/felixge/node-formidable> package, since it is extremely
popular. node also has a number of authenticaion middlewares, but for my
purposes, i would like to use grant <https://github.com/simov/grant>. I
would like to know other requirements of the application, so I can provide
a detailed description in my proposal.
