That’s looking much better! Providing Google translation is a good addition
too, though we still want to present our manual translations as they will be
much better quality. We want to show them as options on the page.
I suggest showing the flag for each translation that is available and having
that flag link to the translated URL. For example, going to
http://202.164.53.122/wordpress/articles/en/about.php you would see flags for
‘en’, ‘hy’, ‘ru’, and ‘it’ and selecting one of them (e.g., ‘it’) would direct
you to a different URL (e.g.,
http://202.164.53.122/wordpress/articles/it/about.php).
We’d also keep the automatic translation option, but this would allow
presentation of our translations and can be indexed by search engines.
Note that About Hy, About It, and About Ru should not be in the hierarchy list…
the same for all of the lessons that are available in Spanish and English. You
need some mechanism to identify that they are the same file (we could put a
unique ID in the XML or maybe there is already such an ID available) so that
you can link them with the flags.
