Hello! So it's been a while since I last updated everyone on my work. Well, my fall semester just started and I got a bit busy with course registrations and meeting some folks who just came back from home, so I didn't work on the project for like 4-5 days in a row.
Anyways, now I'm back to working and finishing the left over part. So, I have implemented the final piece of the puzzle -- surface area functionality -- in libanalyze and the Caller function for surface area is rt^3 is the only thing remaining. My patch regarding Centroid + Volume functionality in libanalyze was tested by Daniel and there was one small issue -- it wasn't calculating anything without the ".density" file. So, I fixed it in the lastest patch. Besides that, he said there were no side effects and everything looked good. Recently, the Pipe implementation patch that originally Andrei Popescu had been working on during his GSoC project and which I took up as a task to get familiarized with my project when I started out with BRLCAD, was finally committed into the rt^3 trunk. Thanks to Ilinca Andrei as well for his contribution. And well, my logs are being updated. There is some part of documentation that I love to do that is still pending -- the weekly reports.
