Honestly my second email was an effort to get a reply. That effort was not
elegant though! :)
I have not been previously involved in contributing to open source software
particularly. This would be my first try. I may not be ready for GSoC now
but I must mention that I found the project ideas very appealing and I felt
compelled to attempt them.
