I was writing my proposal and was looking into these questions. AFAIK meteor has already decided to ditch Blaze in favor of React as front end framework. There's a Blaze2 but that would just be a thin layer upon React. So every meteor application that wants to use new meteor functionalities after meteor1.3 would have to refactor it's front end code to support React. I personally think that we should make that shift now rather than later because the more we delay, we will have more code to refactor. However, I would also like to know the view of community before including this in my proposal. -- Fear is wisdom in the face of danger.
