You need to submit a patch to BRL-CAD.   The program you submitted is a
stand-alone program and not a patch.   You could follow my suggestion
earlier in this thread.   Or you take a look at the BRL-CAD step-g
converter and see if there is anything needed to improve it to work with
what you intend to do with IFC.   Or you could fix a bug that is in the
BRL-CAD bug tracker.   It is up to you.
