Perhaps you can start an ideas page on the wiki?  I think we at least need two 
categories: 1) general tasks that don’t lead to any others and 2) mini projects 
that are a chain of tasks.

Some ideas include: converting libged commands to new structure, fixing nurbs 
test failures using guide, regression test for each primitive, converting 
primitives to opencl, rendering variations on all primitives (leading to a 
primitives guide), consolidate specific libged commands. 

Application deadline is Oct 24, so I’ll get started on the writeup.
