Looking forward to seeing a comparison!

An e-mail saying that you have read and agree to comply with the rules and
requirements is sufficient. You can send it to me directly.

NEVER in private unless you need to discuss a personal matter (e.g., death in
the family). Open source thrives on open communication. All development
discussions should be in a *public* form like here on this mailing list, on
Zulip chat, or on our IRC channel.

You’ll need to post at least once daily to a development log somewhere online
(not via e-mail). Just a couple sentences summarizing what you learned, what
didn’t work, questions, accomplishments, etc. You can see examples of past
year dev logs on the BRL-CAD wiki:

<http://brlcad.org/wiki/Google_Summer_of_Code/2012>

<http://brlcad.org/wiki/Google_Summer_of_Code/2013>
… etc …

http://brlcad.org/wiki/Google_Summer_of_Code/2017
<http://brlcad.org/wiki/Google_Summer_of_Code/2017>

Everyone should have a log set up by now and listed at
http://brlcad.org/wiki/Google_Summer_of_Code/2018
<http://brlcad.org/wiki/Google_Summer_of_Code/2018>, ideally with several log
entries (e.g., one per week) describing what you’ve done during the bonding
period.

Cheers!
Sean
