Hi Connor, No, the application is terminating (gracefully) because of the unexpected condition. MGED is halted.
Again, it’s doing that because it was unable to write the file (if you run “pwd”, you’ll likely see that your working directory is a read-only location like Program Files). In later versions, that was made not a halting error and your starting location is automatically changed to a read-write location (your home directory, I believe).
