Relax, Sean! :) You don't need to be so formal or cautious. The logos on
http://brlcad.org/d/node/92 are fair game (and their better counterparts in
the images/logo directory. Just don't use the eagle logo.
We wouldn't use the output from dreamweaver directly as we have content
management systems that the design will get morphed over. What we're
looking for are design concepts. A mock-up.
You certainly don't need to make a functioning site. That's a too big of a
task for GCI. Just give us an idea of what you think the site should look
like. Other than not working with the old logo, you have a clean slate to
work with. Impress us with something cool. ;)
After GCI is over, we will likely solicit a webmaster to keep operatings
running smoothly and you're welcome to volunteer taking that work on. Our
site gets over a million visitors a year, so it's great resumé material.
